GAAMA’s objective is to further professionalism of the automotive media, provide a forum for
newsworthy people and products connected with the automotive industry, and to bring together
people whose activities are related to the field of automotive journalism, public relations and related
fields, for the mutual benefit of all parties.

Each year, the Greater Atlanta Automotive Media Association (GAAMA)
gathers at the Atlanta International Auto Show to evaluate the many vehicles
presented by the show’s participating manufacturers. The vehicles are placed
into six categories: Best Green, Best SUV/Crossover, Best Luxury, Best Truck,
Best Performance, and Biggest Bang for the Buck. Additionally, Judges’ Choice
is awarded for the vehicle that rises above the crowd, combining excellent
form, function, and technology to offer consumers a truly comprehensive
package.
The GAAMA judges represent various segments of automotive journalism, including print,
radio, social media and blogs. Taking top honors at the 37th Annual Atlanta International
Auto Show was the Genesis G70. “The Genesis G70 received the Judges’ Choice Award,”
said Daryl Killian, president of GAAMA and host of AutoNsider on WAOK radio. “It truly
has all the elements – performance, technology, style and safety, which bring it to the top
of the entry-level compact luxury sports sedans. From all aspects, it is a truly stand-out car.”
