REFLECTING ON THE 40TH ANNUAL ATLANTA INTERNATIONAL AUTO SHOW
The past couple of years have been challenging to say the least, with the pandemic
and the chip shortage, but the 40th Annual Atlanta International Auto Show was
a huge success this year with more manufacturers participating with larger display
areas and the return of Ride & Drives from multiple manufacturers.
We were very fortunate to be able to host the 40th Annual Atlanta International Auto Show, while other
shows around the country canceled, one after another, partially because of COVID and the biggest
factor being the chip shortage and inventory demands.
The team here at the Metro Atlanta Automobile Dealers Association was working hard behind the
scenes to plan the 40th installment of the show, coordinating with manufacturers to give Atlantans an
opportunity to attend the show and enjoy what has become a tradition for many.
Although the availability of display properties, vehicles, and staffing were a challenge, it was still
important to press on to continue the tradition of the 40th Annual Show. Personal vehicles are essential
to people’s daily lives and their importance has been highlighted throughout the pandemic. People who
had transitioned to public transit in recent years found themselves scrambling to return to personal vehicle
ownership, and we wanted to give them access to compare available options in their next vehicle selection,
all under one roof.
Now that the 2022 show is behind us, we are focusing on 2023, which will usher in the 41st Annual Atlanta
International Auto Show. We’re excited about the 41st show, and we’re looking forward to bringing Atlanta
another fantastic event!
The dates for the 2023 show are March 23rd – 26th. Be sure to stay tuned to our social media channels for the
Atlanta International Auto Show and the MAADA for the latest updates.
