MAADA MEMBERS EFFORTS DURING THE COVID-19 OUTBREAK
The past few months have been quite a challenge for all of us, not just in the automotive industry, but in
our communities. The COVID-19 outbreak has affected all of our daily lives, requiring us to alter routines,
overcome obstacles, and make extraordinary sacrifices. It’s been extremely heartening to see MAADA
dealer members step up to help out in this crisis, volunteering time, energy, and resources to ensure that our
community has what it needs to endure, especially with regards to doctors, nurses, and other healthcare
professionals on the front lines of this battle.

It goes without saying that it hasn’t been easy, and we still have challenges ahead of us. But if the
determination that you have all shown is an indication of things to come, then there is no doubt that we will
emerge from this, stronger than ever.

LOOKING BACK AT THE 2020 ATLANTA INTERNATIONAL AUTO SHOW
They say that “timing is everything,” and that couldn’t be truer for the 38 Annual Atlanta International
                                                                                            th
Auto Show. Much earlier than usual on the calendar, the show opened to the public in late February,
enabling us to present the latest and greatest new vehicles from over two-dozen manufacturers to Metro
Atlantans. In addition to much anticipated new vehicles like the Chevrolet C8 Corvette, Mustang Mach
E, and the Genesis GV80, we had a great collection of privately
owned classics on display, as well as exotic cars from Caffeine
                               & Octane.

Within a couple of weeks of the show’s ending, the Coronavirus
outbreak enveloped our lives, forcing large events across
the country to cancel, including other auto shows. But we are already
planning for 2021, and our tentative dates for the 39 ANNUAL ATLANTA
                                                                  TH
INTERNATIONAL AUTO SHOW are March 17th thru the 21st. Be sure to stay

IT’S TIME TO REFOCUS ON TRAINING
During the slow period brought on by the COVID-19 situation, there’s no doubt been
an impact on staffing at many dealerships around the area. Whether you’re bringing
employees back on board, hiring new ones, or looking to provide a refresher for
team members, remember that MAADA’s Academy for Automotive Professionals is
here to help! We've taken the steps necessary to comply with CDC guidelines, and
our instructors are ready to equip your team members for success.
